Why Should We Help Other People?

Malaysia's climate can be harsh sometimes. This is quite different than the USA or UK which has quite a smoothing and interesting climate as well as the four seasons there. Summer, spring, autumn, winter. They're more interesting compared to Malaysia and other nations under the Equator Gang, which only has summer and rainy season.

But whatever, we are compelled to show our gratitude to God in any condition we face, so that God knows that we are indeed His best servant of all. So... Praise be upon God for giving us lots of gifts and pleasures to remind us about His Might and Power. Alhamdulillah.

Anyway, greetings to you kind readers from any parts of the world. May God bless your life always.

In order for us to show our gratitude towards God, what should we do? What needs to be done? Will God accept our forms of gratitude? Or will He reject it?

To answer those questions, first... God will accept any forms of gratitude done by us, no matter what we do as long as it is allowed by the rules of the religion.

The second question, what should we do?

Please kindly refer to the title of this post above. WHY SHOULD WE HELP OTHER PEOPLE?

The perfect answer for that question is to show our own way of gratitude towards God. In living our life, there are two rules that we need to follow. It is 'Hablu Minallahu wa Hablu Minannas', which means the relationship between us humans and God, and the relationship between us and other fellow human beings. Our life means nothing if we take a good care of our relationship with God but at the same time ignoring our relationship with other people. Why? It is because human beings are the creations of God as well. All of us belong to God. So if you make enemies with other people, it also means that in a certain aspect, you are inviting God's wrath as well.

So, how should we help? Simple as ABC.

1 - Smile always. Smiling is also a form of charity.

2 - Give donations to anybody in need. Buy things for them. Give them the things that they need. If possible, provide shelter and job for them. Who knows, they will be one of the millions that will strengthen the economy of your nation in the future.

3 - Be nice to the people around you. Help them in doing their work, giving your opinions for them to think about, motivate them, share their feelings.

4 - Give foods to the people in need, no matter where they live. As an example, there are a lot of charity organizations in Malaysia such as Aman Palestin, Mercy Malaysia, Aqsa Syarif (I will write an article about them later) that are collecting funds to buy food supplies and household supplies for the people in warring regions such as Palestine, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan and others.

5 - Do not approach them with disgusted feelings or showing negative expression to them. I repeat, do not do so. Just come to them with the feeling of love and sympathy. And always ask for them to pray for you. You will see the good effects sooner or later, God wills it.

So... what are you waiting for? Humanity doesn't recognize skin color, race, background, ethnics or religion. It is our responsibility to keep humanity alive, when the world leaders are in their plans to kill humanity once and for all.

Treating Children With Love.

Assalamu'alaykum and greetings, my dear kind readers.

It is already Sunday in Malaysia, by now. I thank God for His blessings that Malaysia is still a peaceful and getting more modernized from day to day. Feel free to travel to Malaysia, live with us, study our culture, religion and history. It will be one of the most remembered moments ever for all of you, trust me. I will produce an article to tell you about the Federation of Malaysia and his beauties, God's willing.

But today we are going to talk about a topic that will make me cry whenever I think about it.

TREATING CHILDREN WITH LOVE.

“O my Lord! Grant me from You, a good offspring. You are indeed the All-Hearer of invocation.” (Quran 3:38)

Every day we are able to see children around us. Some of them are playing happily with each other, some of them are busy with their own activities. That view is able to make us forget our hardships and trials of life, even for a moment.

But nowadays there are parents that abuse their children. The orphans being abused and ignored. Children being the subject of cruelty, whether in times of war or peace. What is happening with the world nowadays? Thus, allow me to remind all of you along with myself on why we are compelled to treat children with love and compassion.

I will tell you the importance of treating children with love and compassion.

1 - Children's prayers are totally full of blessings. They are so near to God that God listens and grants their prayers almost instantly. Be nice to them and ask for them to pray for you. You will see the amazing effect sooner or later.

2 - Children are the future leaders and thinkers of the future. Be nice to them and they will repay you with their excellent service in the future.

3 - Children are the reflections of your own self. Treat them nicely and you will see your honored and good qualities in them.

4 - Children are very, very honest with their words. The moment you do good deeds upon them, the whole community will talk about your kindness in no time.

5 - The Old Malay folks used to say, "Rezeki anak-anak~", which means that children is the hidden way for you to be able to accept the gift of success from God. So be nice to them and treat them with love. God will open His gates of success for you to enter from any gates you want.

That's all for now. I hope all of you will realize that God will not grant you children for nothing. He does have His plans, and His plans are the greatest plans of all.

"Fear Allah, the Almighty, and be fair and just to all your children. Seek the testimony of another person, other than me. I will not testify to an act of injustice." - Hadith Bukhari and Muslim

Basic Leadership Principles

Assalamu'alaykum and greetings.

Welcome again to this blog. I pray to God so that all of you kind readers will gain as much knowledge as you want and need from this blog. That is what we call as knowledge. The excellent gift of God, praise be upon Him as The Most Honored One.

So today we will be discussing the basic leadership principles, based on the most popular idol of the century as being reported by the Forbes Magazine. Who is this man?

Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).

With the Holy Quran in my right hand and the Al-Hadith (Prophet's Sayings) book on my left hand, let us wander into the mind of this most exalted and well-known leader in Islam. Before I continue, let me tell you that this man isn't a pessimistic one. He is also known as the one who has the positive thoughts even during hard times. His faith is so strong that nobody in the world were strong enough to shake his faith. With that, here we go...~!

First Principle: To begin from the possible

This principle is well explained in a saying of Aishah. She said: “Whenever the Prophet had to choose between two options, he always opted for the easier choice(Al-Bukhari)". To choose the easiest option means to begin from the possible, and one who begins from the possible will surely reach his goal.

Second Principle: To see advantage in disadvantage

In the early days of Mecca, there were many problems and difficulties. At that time, a guiding verse in the Qur’an was revealed. It said: “With every hardship there is ease, with every hardship there is ease.” (94:5-6).

This means that if there are some problems, there are also opportunities at the same time. And the way to success is to ignore the problems and avail the opportunities.

Third Principle: To change the place of action

This principle is derived from the Hijrah. Hijrah was not just a migration from Mecca to Medina. It was to find a more suitable place for Islamic work, as history proved later on.

Fourth Principle: To make a friend out of an enemy

Prophet Muhammad was repeatedly subjected to practices of antagonism by the unbelievers. At that time the Qur’an enjoined upon him the return of good for evil. And then, as the Qur’an added, “You will see your direst enemy has become your closest friend” (41:34). It means that a good deed in return of a bad deed has a conquering effect over your enemies. And the life of Prophet Muhammad is a historical proof of this principle.

Fifth Principle: To turn minus into plus

After the Battle of Badr, about 70 of the unbelievers were taken as the prisoners of war. They were educated people. Prophet Muhammad announced that if any one of them would teach ten Muslim children how to read and write he would be freed. This was the first school in the history of Islam in which all of the students were Muslims, and all of the teachers were from the enemy rank. Here I shall quote a British orientalist who remarked about the Prophet Muhammad; He faced adversity with the determination to writing success out of failure.

Sixth Principle: The power of peace is stronger than the power of violence

When Mecca was conquered, all of the Prophet Muhammad's direst opponents were brought before him. They were war criminals, in every sense of the word. Prophet Muhammad did not order to kill them. He simply said: “Go, you are free.” The result of this kind behavior was miraculous. They immediately accepted Islam.

Seventh Principle: Not to be a dichotomous thinker

In the famous Ghazwa of Muta, Khalid bin Walid decided to withdraw Muslim forces from the battlefield because he discovered that the enemy was unproportionately outnumbered. When they reached Medina, some of the Muslims received them by the word “O Furrar (O deserters!)” The Prophet said “No. They are Kurrar (men of advancement).” Those people of Medina were thinking dichotomously, either fighting or retreating. Prophet Muhammad said no. There is also a third option, and that is to avoid war and find a time to strengthen yourself. Now history tells us that the Muslims, after three years of preparation, advanced again towards the Roman border and this time they won a resounding victory.

Eighth Principle: To bring the battle in one’s own favorable field

This principle is derived from the Ghazwa of Hudaibiyya. At that time, the unbelievers were determined to engage Muslims in fighting, because obviously they were in an advantageous position. But the Prophet, by accepting their conditions unilaterally, entered into a pact. It was a ten-year peace treaty. Until then, the meeting ground between Muslims and non-Muslims had been on the battlefield. Now the area of conflict became that of ideological debate. Within two years, Islam emerged as victorious because of the simple reason of its ideological superiority.

Ninth Principle: Gradualism instead of radicalism

This principle is well-established by a hadith of Al-Bukhari. Aishah says that the first verses of the Qur’an were related mostly to heaven and hell. And then after a long time when the people’s hearts had softened, the specific commands to desist from adultery and drinking were revealed in the Qur’an. This is a clear proof that for social changes, Islam advocates the evolutionary method, rather than the revolutionary method.

Tenth Principle: To be pragmatic in controversial matters

During the writing of Hudaibiyyah treaty, the Prophet dictated these words: “This is from Muhammad, the Messenger of God.” The Qurayshi delegate raised objections over these words. The Prophet promptly changed the word and ordered to write simply Muhammad, son of Abdullah.

These were the principles through which Prophet Muhammad gained that success which has been recognized by historians as the true success.

First Step Towards Success (Basic Knowledge)

Greetings. My fingers have been feeling so itchy to make a blog especially recently. The need to share my experiences of life and knowledge about the whole world is growing wildly, that I myself am not able to hold it anymore.

So thus, here we go to the first knowledge, which is...

MAKING THE FIRST STEP.

From the moments when we were born until the day we die, we will continue to listen to this phrase. "Make your first step.", they said. (It'll be fun, they said.)

Yes, human beings are destined to learn about anything from the day they live to the day they die. The process of learning about any knowledge is a must for everybody. That is when we are compelled to do, perhaps, the biggest decisions of all. Whether to make the first step or just simply leave the opportunities away. Being successful is not an easy thing. It requires us to sacrifice a lot of things. Blood and guts, sweats, money, time, sweat and tears. Yes, it sounds scary. But be not worry, I will try my best to guide you towards facing it with the heart of a lion. God wills it.

1 - THINK about what you want to do. List out the things that you want to do as well as the consequences, positively and negatively. List out the the things that you predict to happen if you walk on this road, and what will happen if you simply leave it away.

2 - PLAN the steps carefully. Give the elements that you are going to use and spend wisely, in terms of economy, your influences, the level of your capability and what do you expect to gain from it. Do not forget to prepare the emergency plans for your future use, in case if you face some obstacles and challenges.

3 - READY yourself in terms of physically, mentally and spiritually. Use the advantages of the LAW OF ATTRACTION to the fullest. It is not wrong to dream big. It is not wrong to dream about it every day. But it is wrong to just simply dream about it and not to work hard for it. Throw the negative thoughts away. The sense of pessimistic, doubtful thoughts, words of hatred from those who do not want you to be successful. Just throw them away and ignore them as you walk into success.

4 - FRIENDSHIP is important. Do not be selfish and do not grow up to be an anti-social. Avoid those negative things. You will make friends with those who you deem as important for you to be successful. Suck all knowledge from them, ask for their opinions and help. Be not shy and do not forget your friends when you are already successful in achieving your dreams. Success is so sweet when you share it with your friends. Who knows, maybe some day they will look at you as their role model and hero.

5 - MONITOR your movements and be sure to plan your next steps carefully. Do not be hasty, patience is virtue. Some say patience is money. Do not let yourself to be influenced with any side pleasures as you walk towards success. Just keep on reminding yourself about your true aim and target. Good things will come as soon as your have reached your main target and dream.

That's all for now, as for a good start. Making the first step is crucial. So be careful and stay frosty, so that you will not be deviated from your true course. Failure is a must for everybody, but the act of getting up again after failures will tell the world that you are the most strongest person ever.

May God's bless be with you kind readers. Amiin.
